POSTER DESIGN, CONCEPTUAL DESIGN, TYPOGRAPHY
OVERVIEW
This poster is a visual experiment inspired by the work of Sugi Fukuda, known for his use of illusion, metaphor, and precision in design. The project explores how minimal forms and spatial tension can create meaning beyond surface-level aesthetics.
Using bold typography, negative space, and optical cues, the design invites viewers to pause, reconsider, and reinterpret what they see. The aim was to create a piece that feels simple at first glance but reveals layered intention through visual trickery and restraint.
This work reflects a broader interest in conceptual design, where clarity and confusion are used deliberately to engage perception, challenge assumptions, and create lasting impact.
