SkatePark
Prompt:
Shift the scale of an object or place.

Execution:
I chose to shrink an iconic skate park from my hometown in Portland, Oregon. I began by creating a floor plan with wood, then I created the ramps out of plaster and finally put a coat of paint on it. By reducing its scale, I explored how the change in size shifted the viewer's perception of its cultural and personal significance, transforming it from a monumental space into a more intimate, reflective representation of its impact.
